Presentation Description:
An overview of the created-redeemed-called Gospel motivation and practical suggestions for those speaking and showing the sanctity of life in and with the local congregation. God created the church as a place where we worship, receive the sacraments and grow our faith. He also created through our fellowship a church family that extends beyond weekly worship into the lives of our members. No matter what age we have the responsibility to care for and nourish all those in our care. Providing opportunities that grow our faith, nurture our members through equipping them to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life we also grow in our ability to serve the communities where we live. This presentation will focus on God’s love For Life and share practical ideas of how our churches can serve those in our fellowship and communities. Through God’s Word he has created, redeemed and called us from fertilization to eternal life. Life ministry in the church is essential to all generations as each aspect of life has its own life issues yet they are universal in God’s plan to honor the sanctity of human life. Learn about how Life Shines at Church in this presentation so you will be even more equipped to serve and equip your congregation.

Speaker Bio:
Virginia joined Lutherans For Life in September 2013 and currently resides in Eagan, Minnesota, where she is a member of Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran Church and School. She has spent her life in a dual career both in business management, working for several major corporations in the Twin Cities area, as well as making a career in church work. She has worked extensively in the areas of Christian education, stewardship, and evangelism, while also serving as a choir director where she has been able to share her love of Christian music with both adults and children. In her business experience she has worked in management, marketing, technology, and the graphic and visual arts. Her strong conviction For Life has given her the opportunity to speak on many life issues, with a particular emphasis in physician assisted suicide, which is being addressed in many states today. She grew up in a family that welcomed foster children who found a safe home with them in the country. She has authored a Christian fiction novel capturing some of those foster care experiences. Prior to coming to LFL, Virginia has served as a LFL Life Chapter president. In her current area of responsibility as LFL’s Volunteer Relations Director, she is working across the United States helping equip Lutherans to be Gospel-motivated voices For Life.
