Presentation Description:
Bringing a child into this world is indeed one of the happiest times of a woman's life! It cannot be denied, however, that with this happiness comes incredible stress and a new layer of responsibility that one has never experienced before. In fact, 12.5% of mothers experience postpartum depression and 18% experience postpartum anxiety. How does one, therefore, remain joyful and thankful for God's gift of this human life? And how should the church respond? Join Deaconess Geraci as she unpacks these questions through the telling of her own story and through the sharing of God's Word of encouragement and joy.
