Denial of Care

This presentation seeks to give an overview of denial of care issues from a pro-life Lutheran perspective. The presentation begins by examining denial of care issues in light of Lutheran theology as well as considering some practical considerations regarding denial of care. Then, this presentation gives a summary of some of the more prominent denial of care cases historically, namely the Karen Ann Quinlan case, the Nancy Cruzan case, the Terri Schiavo case, and the Charlie Gard case. Finally, this presentation ends with giving some relevant Scripture, practical action steps, and vocational considerations regarding denial of care.
